GOTTFRIED JÄGER
Photo 041219.2036
Embark on a visual journey with Jäger's groundbreaking 'photo' series, initiated in 2004, where Adobe Photoshop™ transcends its conventional role. Marvel at images born purely from syntax and form, free from any pictorial motive, as the program engages in a dance with its own syntactic elements. Discover 'photographisms'—Jäger's unique term for these formal creations that challenge and redefine the photographic canon of form.
Witness a pivotal moment in photography's evolution, as Jäger’s mastery of digital tools and generative photography techniques sets a new standard for innovation in the field. His work stands as a testament to the transformative power of technology, offering fresh perspectives and reimagining the photographic universe with an emphasis on formal structure and creative exploration.
